I am a big fan of mindmapping. On my Mac I use Mindjet Mindmanager, but more and more it’s more convenient use shared mindmaps by Mindmeister.

There are also good books about mindmapping by Tony Buzan.

CONCEPT CRYSTALLIZATION

When having a new idea for a business, you need to first crystallize the idea. There are other names for this process as well. It include, among other things, creating mockups to visualize your idea and secondly describe with your own words it textually as well. A great tool for creating the mockups is Balsamiq.
